Details of Research Project: the research project will investigate circuit and synaptic mechanisms of pavlovian conditioning under aversive and appetitive conditions, focusing on the medial proefrontal cortex of the mouse, and using the following approaches: electrophysiology, histology, viral manipulations, optogenetics and calcium imaging.

Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project: the goals of the project will be to understand the circuit organization of microcircuits and output pathways of the mpfc mediating aversive and appetitive conditioning.

 

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $73,588.00 - $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
