The Gulf Coast Carbon Center is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct micromodel laboratory experiments and pore-scale numerical simulations to characterize multiphase flow properties from field cores to assist with geologic characterization effort of a CO2 injection site.
Responsibilities
Conduct microfluid experiments of CO2 injection into brine-filled fluidic cells.
Conduct direct pore-scale multiphase flow simulations of CO2 and brine.
