Postdoctoral Associate

Description

We are conducting a search for a Postdoctoral Associate to work on a research project entitled "Using Virtual Reality for Analysis of Human Movement" under the direction of Professor Ken Perlin. This position will involve research in the use of virtual reality for research related to human ambulation, balance and gait analysis.

The candidate must have prior research experience with virtual reality, computer graphics and animation, gaze detection and analysis, a working understanding of the relationship between footsteps, balance and gait, and must be familiar with the use of motion capture suits and other full body motion capture systems.

 

 

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a Ph.D. in computer science. The topic of the candidate's Ph.D. dissertation should be closely related to the research focus of this position.
