Portfolio Delivery & Operations Specialist

Role Summary:
The Portfolio Delivery & Operations Specialist Lead plays a critical role in supporting the PMO leadership by driving the execution of key projects and enhancing PMO operations. This role ensures strategic initiatives are delivered effectively while maintaining operational excellence within the PMO function. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can navigate both delivery and process-oriented tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery Support
- Oversee and track progress of selected high-visibility projects and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure delivery is on schedule and aligned to scope and budget.
- Provide consolidated updates and insights to PMO leadership.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain and evolve PMO frameworks, templates, tools, and best practices.
- Coordinate PMO dashboards, KPIs, resource utilization, and reporting cadences.
- Support regular portfolio reviews, steering committees, and compliance activities.
Strategic Support
- Liaise with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure strategic alignment.
- Support quarterly and annual planning activities across the project portfolio.
- Assist in team onboarding, training programs, and communication efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in project delivery or PMO roles.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (Project Online, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
- Nice to have Oracle Procurement & PPM experience.
- PMP, or similar certification preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a passion for continuous improvement.
