Porter (Part-Time)

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Porter to join our team at Restland in Dallas. Porters at NorthStar find fulfillment and purpose in the essential task of maintaining our fleet vehicles with meticulous care and dedication, ensuring that each vehicle is prepared to serve our client families. As vital members of our team, our porters take pride in their work, embodying our commitment to sympathy in everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle cleaning and detailing
• Perform thorough cleaning, washing, and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for daily service rotation (cleanliness, check fluid levels, etc.)
• Assist with all vehicle repair logs and service schedules (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
• Inspect all vehicles before dispatching them for services and upon return.
• Identify damages to the fleet daily, log them, and report them to the Fleet Coordinator, Cemetery Manager, or Funeral Home Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
