Policy and Executive Support Officer (533374)

The Role:

The Policy and Executive Support Officer is a key member of the Statewide Revenue Management Team, directly supporting the Manager Statewide Revenue and Assistant Manager Statewide Revenue as well as supporting the Statewide revenue team as a whole with written advice, reports, documentation and projects and providing comprehensive and high-quality administrative support and coordination. 

You will need:

• To have the ability to provide input into high level strategic advice regarding revenue issues for the Minister, Secretary, Agency and other stakeholders.
• To have the ability to undertake research and analysis to contribute to the development and maintenance of revenue policies and protocols and resolution of issues as they arise.
• Sound working knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire that knowledge of public hospital revenue practices and associated legislation.
• Proven experience in and understanding of the provision of policy and executive support in an environment subject to work pressures and change. 
• Demonstrated ability to draw on analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems, make recommendations and improve systems and processes.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise and work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
