JOB SUMMARY: 

The Plumber ensures safe, efficient operation of all Public Restrooms, plumbing fixtures, pumping equipment, kitchen equipment and other related systems. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

• Responsible for preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of all equipment.  
• Applies operational procedures as required by state and local codes.  
• Maintains log of all equipment status and inventory of parts and materials necessary for repairs.  
• Keeps all equipment, equipment rooms and other assigned areas clean.  
• Performs operation and regular preventive maintenance of all plumbing and kitchen equipment.  
• Maintains inventory of supplies.  
• Responsible for preventive and regular maintenance of all equipment.  
• Assists all other trades in the Facilities Department as directed by Shift Supervisor.  
• A security escort is required should these persons perform these job functions in a restricted casino area. 
• Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High school graduate preferred.  
• Minimum three years experience working with pumping  equipment, plumbing and other related systems.  
• Must possess a Plumbing License issued by the City of New Orleans. 
• Must possess a valid Louisiana Drivers License. 
• Must possess strong communication skills.  
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. 
• Must present a well-groomed appearance. 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:  

• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, and work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.  
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned task. 
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders and work on man-lift type equipment.  
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. 
• Must be able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical plans.
