The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic leader to guide our production and warehouse operations, driving continuous improvement in Engagement, Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Operational Excellence. This role involves developing leadership that fosters a zero-loss work culture, ensuring product safety and quality, and aligning activities with company policies, goals, and objectives.This permanent, full-time position will report to the VP Dairy Operations and is fully onsite. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Inspire Teams: Foster a strong team spirit, effective communication, urgency, and high motivation to achieve immediate and long-term goals.
- Champion Change: Act as a visible change agent, promoting flexibility and openness to new opportunities.
- Strategic Leadership: Execute strategic plant direction for all production initiatives, aligning with global goals.
- Collaborative Planning: Drive collaboration within the site and across network activities, ensuring cross-functional planning and decision-making.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee the budget and financial performance of product manufacturing operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a positive Safety Culture, GMP operating principles, and ensure inspection readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve manufacturing procedures and equipment in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Talent Development: Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring of personnel, and coach supervisors and junior staff through effective development planning.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Presentation Skills: Effective presentation skills and the ability to respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
