Planning & Production Control Supervisor

Role + Responsibilities  

• Active member of the Plant Leadership Team 
• Leading direct reports (salaried) by providing coaching and development opportunities and delivering structured performance management assessments 
• Identify, prioritize and implement solutions for process inefficiencies and other continuous improvement opportunities 
• Plan and direct activities related to indirect and direct material planning, purchasing, order administration, and production scheduling functions within the company 
• Taking ownership for process health metrics and maintaining acceptable levels of performance as identified by the company 
• Network with Sales and other fulfillment partners, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit feedback to improve collaboration 

Qualification + Profile  

• Strong project management skill with proven experience 
• Prior work experience within one or more functions of Supply Chain (material planning, purchasing and/or production scheduling) 
• Ability to write reports and effectively train and present information in one-on-one and group settings 
• Strong computer skills- experience using SAP or other ERP/MPR system and familiarity with MS Office tools 
• High-level critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to connect operational duties to overall organization goals and strategies 
• Project Management skills and experience implementing process changes 
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Supply Chain Management, Business or other related field. (APICS is a plus) 
• 1-2 years of direct supervisory experience and a minimum 5 years of Supply Chain experience 
• Minimal Travel Requirement
