JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator is expected to oversee the day-to-day operations, to maintain a positive and professional working atmosphere with faculty, residents and peers, to understand and ensure compliance of ACGME program guidelines and program objectives are met by the current residents, and to present a positive and united front in the successful recruitment of resident applicants to the program. In addition, this position will serve to be the liaison between T. J. Family Medicine Center, UofL Graduate Medical Education (GME) and the Family Medicine Residency Program Director.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Work Experience
To have prior experience in Graduate Medical Education or to have worked within policy driven fields such as education, law, finance or accounting, preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Coordinates candidate interviews, resident recruitment and selection process.
· Coordinates marketing of the residency program; i.e., updating and maintaining the website and other recruitment program information.
· Assists in the distribution of the monthly and yearly schedules under the guidance and supervision of the Program Director.
· Tracks resident evaluations, duty hours, procedure logs and conference attendance
· Maintains resident files and accounting reports for all aspects of the program.
· Provides full administrative support to the faculty.
· Maintains and prepares all necessary records as required by the ACGME for the RRC site visit
· Ensures NRMP/NMS participation, sends welcoming letter with instructions to selected candidates regarding policies, procedures, and orientation schedule to ensure successful transition into the program.
· Notification of the Departments of new residents coordinate the orientation schedule with them
· Monitor and assist in notifying residents of outstanding information, alert Program Director of any problems encountered by the incoming resident and assist and monitor licensing and visa status.
· Arrange required training in conjunction with the departments
· Coordinate annual review of the Program by the residents as required by the RRC and ACGME.
· Coordinate and ensure completion of all program surveys, such as ACGME, GME Track, WebADS, and that all information is entered into the appropriate data system for documentation and program certification.
