With 100+ locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Women’s Care provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility.
Women’s Care is seeking a candidate for the position of Physician Liaison to develop and further enhance market relationships with targeted physicians and practices. The Physician Liaison is focused on referral development and retention, requiring a proactive approach to relationship management. This person will be responsible for identifying, initiating, and maintaining contact with targeted referral sources, ensuring that Women’s Care services are effectively communicated and aligned with the needs of the physicians.
The Physician Liaison will engage in direct selling activities, making face-to-face contacts and presentations to current and potential referring physicians. This involves conducting needs assessments to understand the specific requirements of the physicians and their office staff and then strategizing how to match those needs with Women’s Care offerings. This role will also develop a sales funnel to track and progress relationships with referring physicians, ensuring that they are kept informed about service line enhancements and other relevant information.
Territory: This position will be covering the following counties: Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough.
- Drive market growth of our clinics by developing and expanding the referral base
- Work closely with physicians, medical offices, hospitals, and community organizations to build and nurture long-term relationships, ensuring Women’s Care remains the go-to choice for women’s health
- Develop and grow patient referral sources to increase clinic business
- Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Operations and VP of Strategic Initiatives on strategic growth initiatives
- Continuously analyze market trends and competitors to protect and grow market share
- Maintain ongoing communication with referring providers via in-person visits, calls, and emails
- Promote provider engagement through events, orientations, and referral lunch and learns
- Represent Women’s Care at health fairs, medical symposia, business events, and medical society meetings
- Oversee new physician marketing and introductions, both internally and externally
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or business development
- Proven track record of success in healthcare referral marketing, pharmaceutical sales, or physician marketing
- Existing relationships with call points such as Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care and Pediatric Care
- Proven ability to document physician visits, manage issues, and provide market intelligence to internal stakeholders
- Successful track record of developing and managing a sales plan, analyzing physician utilization of hospital services, and identifying key sales strategies to enhance referral relationships
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A customer service mindset, and the ability to work with stakeholders from all levels of the organization
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in healthcare with a preferred focus in women’s health
