Full-Time Family Practice Physician – Haxtun, Colorado

Haxtun Health is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our team in northeastern Colorado. This clinic-based role provides the opportunity to help build and deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative rural healthcare environment. No productivity requirement and no required call shifts.  Willingness to be a complete healthcare team player that contributes to the overall organizational culture for the optimum patient outcomes. 

About Haxtun Health and the Position:

• Health Service Corps Approved Site – Student Loan Repayment Eligible up to 120K
• Two brand new and newly renovated Primary Care Clinics, Critical Access Hospital with 5 Acute Care Beds, 20 Extended/Long Term Care Beds, and a Trauma Designated Emergency Department
• Flexible schedule: Choose from four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days per week
• Competitive Salary starting at 250K Annually and based on experience

Ideal Candidate:

• MD/DO (Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine preferred)
• Holds or can obtain Colorado medical license & DEA certification
• Current ATLS, BLS, PALS, and ACLS (or willing to obtain)
• Passionate about rural healthcare & team-based patient care
• Preference given to provider qualified to additionally fill the organization’s Chief of Staff Role.
