Physician Assistant - Catheterization Lab (28909)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Catheterization Lab to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County.  Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Perform physical examination and obtain medical history, order labs, ECGs, chest X-rays, etc., on consult service and pre-procedure under Attending supervision. 
• Evaluate and interpret patient medications, laboratory, and test results.
• Coordinate and facilitate referrals and follow-up for cardiac procedures (Cardiac Cath, EP Studies, Device procedures, Cardiothoracic Surgery).
• Perform cardiac procedures including Stress Tests, Stress Echocardiography, Tilt Table Testing, and Nuclear Stress Testing under Attending supervision. 
• Assist in Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures. 
• Perform inpatient cardiovascular consults and monitor and follow-up patients in the CCU. 
• Perform non-invasive cardiac stress testing under Attending supervision. 
• Schedule: Daytime, with flexibility.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Experience with ECG and blood pressure monitoring equipment - 1 year experience preferred.
• ACLS & BLS Certification.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure. 

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
