PTA responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist

• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and safety

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve function and independence

• Document progress accurately and in accordance with regulations

• Encourage and motivate residents in their rehabilitation goals

• Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure consistent and coordinated care
