About the role

Work Schedule

100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8-hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Weekend rotation and annual Holiday Assignment per Department Policy. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

 

Pay:

  • Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position. 

  • Additional components of compensation may include: 

    • Evening and night shift differential
    • Weekend differential
    • Float differential

We are seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience to:

  • Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to University Hospital in acute care settings.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.
  • Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Required

 

Work Experience

  • Two (2) years prior relevant experience Preferred

 

Licenses and Certifications

  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months Required
