Seeking a Substation Design Engineer to develop Physical Substation 3D projects utilizing AutoDesk Inventor for one of Mesa’s long term utility clients. Responsibilities:

Your Project Responsibilities will include designing and developing:

  • Equipment Modeling
  • One-line Diagrams
  • General Arrangements
  • Elevation Diagrams
  • Plan Views
  • Etc.

Additionally, you will also be:

  • Performing Physical design with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Working in teams as well as individually.
  • Using AutoDesk Inventor to create deliverables.
  • Interacting with the customer and meet their schedule and budgeting requirements.
  • Reviewing other team member's work.
  • Traveling (<5% of your time) and work paid overtime as needed.
  • Practicing safe habits and perform no unsafe acts.

Years of Experience:

0 - 6 years of Substation Physical Substation Design is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Skills:

  • Understanding AutoDesk Inventor Modeling design
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer Service focus
  • English as primary language
  • Able to prioritize
  • Be organized and effective
