Location: Richmond Heights - St. Mary's Campus

 

Pharmacy Technician

PRN: Weekday (mostly Monday/Wednesday/Friday) and weekend coverage,

as well as Holidays - holidays will be one major and one minor depending on open holidays. 

 

PRN Rate: $19.50

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                

• Fills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prints out and fills label requests for First dose or Stat medications.
• Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.
• Carry/lift up to 35lbs
• Push/pull up to 10lbs

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required based on state requirement. (License required, certification is not.)
• High school diploma/GED required

Preferred Experience

• One to two year’s experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.

*Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process - to be completed before an employee's first day of work.*
