Pharmacy Manager

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join our Pharmacy team on a Full-Time basis.
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the management functions of the Pharmacy Department to ensure that patients' pharmaceutical needs are effectively met.  The manager ensures staff competency and compliance with safety and infection control.  The manager coordinates the Pharmacy and Therapeutic and Antimicrobial Stewardship Committees as well as ensures compliance with JCAHO, Federal and State standards.

Position Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Preferred: PharmD
• Professional Experience: Experience as a hospital pharmacist with 3 years in supervision or management.
• Licensure: Registered as a Pharmacist with the State of Wisconsin or eligible for registration
• Current BLS certification at hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

• Special Requirements: Designated person for USP 800 and USP 797. May work with or near hazardous drugs. Stoughton Hospital will provide Personal Protective Equipment and annual training to reduce the risk of exposure. Acknowledgment of Hazardous Drug Risk must be signed during Clinical Safety Orientation.

• Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
• Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Intermediate Skills - Able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas, and prepare charts for reports.

Work Shift:

• Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
• 40 hours per week
• Scheduled Days: Monday – Friday with an occasional on call
• Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
