The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 3 oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and the repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems for a large-scale Pharmacy Dispensing Center.The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 3 ensures maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards.
Main position responsibilities:
Evaluate mechanical products to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency, oversee and implement prescription drug distribution equipment
Recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality
Perform and lead tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations
Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques
Work under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge
This position reports to the Supervisor of Pharmacy Engineering.

Required Qualifications
4 or more years of experience working in an industrial environment with automated equipment maintenance
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment for minimal downtime
Ability to work independently in a project/task completion driven environment
Ability to travel 10% of the time for educational and related business
Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends and evenings required based on business needs
Must reside within a commutable distance to the CenterWell Pharmacy facility in Orlando, FL
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PLC (Programmable logic controller) devices, control networks, software and applications
Strong hands on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, testing, and start-up
Ability to read and interpret manufacturer instructions regarding repair and maintenance of automated equipment
Experience troubleshooting and determining causes of failure to perform corrective actions (I.E.. Motors, relays, switches, servos, VFDs, and other sensing devices)
Experience with conveyance systems

The position will be scheduled to work one of the following shifts and this will be determined at time of offer:
Monday-Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM EST
Monday-Friday - 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST
