What you will do

PGIM Quantitative Solutions is looking for a Portfolio Manager within their Quantitative Equity team.  The successful candidate will work with the team to implement and evolve our quantitative equity strategies, and will have a special focus on developing and communicating messaging around our strategies to clients and prospects.

What you can expect

• Collaborate with the portfolio management team to assure portfolios are meeting their objectives and contribute to the evolutions of our investment models
• Support the distribution team by meeting with prospects and clients globally to communicate technical knowledge of our strategies and investment process
• Craft and disseminate the QE investment message, both internally and externally, to win and retain business.  This includes, for example, communicating our investment strategy, ESG capabilities and market comments in the form of commentaries, talking points, prospect decks, RFP language, and discussions with the media
• Work with marketing and research to produce insightful thought leadership
• Collaborate with research and product development to evolve and expand our capabilities and product line up

What you will bring

• Strong academic background in finance, economics, mathematics, and statistics (Masters, CFA or PhD )
• 10 + years of relevant investment experience
• Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of global equity markets
• Experience in effectively communicating complex quantitative concepts, ideas, and processes to audiences of varying levels of sophistication
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Ability to solve problems in a creatively and deliver high quality results in a timely fashion

Salary Disclosure: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $150,000 to $200,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
