The Work You Will Do:
PERMITS COORDINATOR I/DISTRICT FOUR/DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS/DISTRICT MAINTENANCE/FORT PIERCE MAINTENANCE-ADMINISTRATION
This position will be the first person an applicant speaks to when applying for a permit or needing assistance using the online permit database. This position is responsible for reviewing and requesting corrections for permit applications for processing. This position will be dealing with the public and excellent customer service is a must. In addition to the public, this position will include interactions with Engineers, Inspectors and other professional staff along with in house members of the team. A high percentage of communication for this position is electronic; computer skills are a must.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinate the Utility Permits ensuring compliance with Department procedures, Florida Administrative Code Rules and the Department's Utility Accommodation Manual. This includes, but is not limited to, field related engineering skills, planning, coordinating between customers and other involved parties, processing and administering proper documentation
