PlanetArt is looking for a talented Performance Marketing Creative Director to support the company’s growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for creative strategy ideation process across various PlanetArt brands.
What You’ll Do
You must be a natural collaborator, with a proficiency in brainstorming and testing ideas grounded in data insights. You should be very comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment. A “can-do” attitude and superb interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are an absolute must.
A creative and dynamic marketing thinker, the Performance Marketing Creative Strategist will be involved in some or all of the following: working with our acquisition marketing team to ideate and optimize campaigns; testing & optimizing by designing effective creative concepts in collaboration with the acquisition marketing team. Ability to explain the rationale why creative decisions are being made and why it may or may not have performed to expectations. This person will provide critical assistance in the optimization of revenue generating initiatives.
The Performance Marketing Creative Director will have the following role & responsibilities:
- Strategize with acquisition marketing team on creative concepts for various digital campaigns.
- Partner with the creative and production team to effectively execute creative concept ideas;
- Conduct creative analysis through weekly meetings with key stakeholders highlighting test learnings, campaign performance, and roadmap milestones;
- Devise and own framework-driven approach to solving varied problems (low CTR, low conversion rate, etc);
- Test a wide range of concepts at same time and know how to find winners;
- Explain why creative decisions are being made and why test results drive next iteration.
- Ability to interpret creative test results.
- Working with key stakeholders to propose creative strategy for elevating App and Website experiences and driving incremental sales;
- Oversee creative development across your assigned brands;
- Write testing plans and creative briefs;
- Create relevant reporting and analytics which provide insight into issues and opportunities leading to action;
- Work closely with the Acquisition team on all digital marketing strategies across channels on a global scale, including paid social best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations;
- And support for projects, site developments and other initiatives where applicable.
Requirements
What You Should Have
- 5+ years of experience managing marketing and/or eCommerce campaigns from ideation to execution;
- Experience in creative for one or more marketing channels, including, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Email, and Landing Pages;
- Solid understanding of consumer behavior and digital marketing trends across social media and CRM;
- Knowledge of performance metrics, preferably experience working with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Tableau;
- Ability to derive actionable insights into new creative direction either from Excel or other data platform;
- Conducted extensive A/B testing;
- Ability to effectively communicate creative concept ideas to designers;
- Solid understanding of consumer behavior and trends;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentally; presentation skills are essential.
- Self-directed, proactive, and able to define and execute projects independently;
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, design, or a related field is a plus.
Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 annual salary.
