About The Role
We are hiring an experienced Performance Engineer to join our software and autonomy team as we revolutionize the food manufacturing industry with AI-embodied robotics. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Software, Hardware, and Operations to keep our production fleet running at its best as we scale from dozens to hundreds of deployed robots.

About The Role
We are hiring an experienced Performance Engineer to join our software and autonomy team as we revolutionize the food manufacturing industry with AI-embodied robotics. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Software, Hardware, and Operations to keep our production fleet running at its best as we scale from dozens to hundreds of deployed robots.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor the Chef System’s performance at key customer production locations.
- Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose mission-critical incidents.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to identify, remediate, and fix performance issues.
- Design and implement test plans to prevent bugs from reaching production.
What You Bring:
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent industry experience that demonstrates comparable expertise.
- Strong analytical reasoning, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Over 2 years of experience working with robotic systems deployed remotely at a customer site.
- Experience working as a project manager.
- Experience writing and executing test plans for robotic systems.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and Linux
