About the role

About Us:

We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.

We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like Pixar, Mitsubishi, Figma, Plaid, Match Group, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role:

As the People Program Manager, you'll be the driving force behind key talent management programs and Affinity group programs with a special focus on our performance review cycle and employee engagement survey. • Truth Seeker: You are curious by nature, a people person who stays up to date on what’s going on in the world staying current with industry trends and best practices in talent management & employee engagement and someone who enjoys taking part in conversations across the org about the company and culture.
  • Spearhead: Drive initiatives to retain top & tenured talent through unique & creative retention programs.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • 8+ years of work experience, with 4+ years in program management ideally in Talent Management or in HR Programs. This is not a managerial role.
  • You are infinitely resourceful and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and getting scrappy!
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; clear and warm communication style.
  • Superb organizational skills, with experiencing triaging many requests and priorities in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
  • A track record of work that required interpersonal sensitivity, empathy, and understanding of DE&I.
  • Experience with fast-paced change management, ideally at a high-growth company.
  • Executive presence: you’ve been an enthusiastic and engaged partner to executive teams and people leaders.
  • Strong execution mindset. We're moving fast and there is a lot to do every day.

Nice to Haves:

  • Strong experience using Slack for internal communications (it’s our main communication tool), and preferred experience or familiarity with Notion (don’t worry, we’ll help you there!).
