What You’ll Do

The People Operations Specialist  will be responsible for supporting the company’s most important asset: its employees. Along with an amazing People & Culture team, they will ensure a positive employee experience by providing an inspiring, inclusive and growth minded culture. This role will support the People Team with generalist activities as well as growing a tight-knit company culture through internal, strategic initiatives.  You will be responsible for:

Administrative

  • Support day-to-day people operations including onboarding, offboarding, and leaves of absence.
  • Generate and audit reports, perform data quality checks, and address discrepancies or errors.
  • Assist with or administer benefits and perks, payroll, employee onboarding and offboarding, leaves of absences, time off programs, maintaining employee records, etc..
  • Track and ensure mandatory trainings are completed by new hires and every existing employee in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation of P&C reports and presentations to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Assist with P&C projects such as quarterly engagement surveys, pulse checks, TekConnect, Kickoff meetings, etc. 
  • Engage with key stakeholders and external providers and vendors, such as payroll and benefits administrators, retirement plan providers and any PEO or performance management solutions.

Culture and Events 

  • Be A Culture Champion - actively seek out ways to nurture and bring our culture to life in a way that inspires, energizes and rallies other employees
  • Assist with the Swag Store, keep items up to date and develop a relationship with the vendor.
  • Join our culture committee (TekConnect) and contribute to fostering a vibrant company culture by organizing engaging events and training sessions.
  • Stay closely connected and aligned with our broader People team; contributing as an integral member of the People team, participating in weekly meetings and social events.
  • Assist in creating an Employee recognition process.

Employee Relations/Support

  • Build relationships and trust with our International teammates to be their support system and ensure they feel connected to the broader team.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings and events.
  • Support employee offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining compliance.
  • Be a trusted resource for employee inquiries, providing essential information about HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Compliance/Policies and Procedures

  • Provides administrative support (and research support) to the People Ops Manager for policy creation/review and compliance requirements.
  • Propose and implement process improvements, maintain documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor degree from a college or university and 3-5 years of related experience in an administrative or coordinator role (HR Assistant, People Ops Coordinator) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A foundational understanding of HR practices, policies, procedures, and fundamentals used to identify and solve problems
  • Knowledge and experience with Human Resources Information Systems preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Google suite of applications
