THE ROLE

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will be responsible for executing P&C policy, programming, and initiatives, with a strong focus on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging; performance management; talent strategy; employee experience; and HR compliance. You will partner with the broader US P&C team to identify areas of opportunity and proactively address future needs to support the organization’s continued growth and business goals. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Serve as main P&C contact for employees and managers with timely/high empathy support for employee questions and concerns.
  • Along with the Director of People & Culture, execute a consistent process for identifying key talent to ensure that we motivate, grow, and retain the best talent.
  • Execute global or regional P&C initiatives and programming, including communications and change management support.
  • Ensure compliance with existing HR policies and procedures.
  • Execute all aspects of the performance management process, including coaching managers to enable them to have candid conversations with employees about their performance, their development, and how they are measured.
  • Manage internal mobility discussions with employees and other teams within DEPT®.
  • Partner with managers and employees to promote learning & development programs in support of key business and people goals.
  • Handle employee relations issues as they arise.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 3 - 7 years of experience in People & Culture/Human Resources
  • 2+ years in a digital agency required; start-up experience preferred 
  • Strong experience with employee management and handling employee relations with the utmost care and discretion
  • Strong experience with employee relations, LOAs, performance management, internal communications, and other day to day responsibilities 
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of employment law, both state and federal, including but not limited to: ADAAA, FMLA, EEO, FLSA
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Critical thinker, customer-focused, collaborative, analytical
  • Exceptional communication skills, polished presentation skills
  • Experience driving and implementing change, and an innovative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to travel, as required

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
