Responsibilities

·         Child supervision and safety

·         Personal care assistance

·         Feeding assistance

·         Age-appropriate play and developmental activities

·         Homework support

·         Transportation to appointments

·         Medication reminders (as permitted)

·         Light housekeeping related to the child

·         Communication with parents

·         Accurate visit documentation

·         Support children with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delays, physical disabilities, and other special healthcare needs

Qualifications

Required:

·         Passion for working with children

·         Compassionate, patient, and dependable

·         Valid driver's license

·         Reliable transportation

·         Authorized to work in the U.S.

·         Pass Level 2 Background Screening

Preferred:

·         HHA or CNA certification

·         CPR & First Aid

·         Experience with special needs children

·         Experience in childcare, education, ABA therapy, pediatric therapy, or pediatric healthcare

·         English required; Spanish or Creole is a plus

Service Area

Assignments throughout West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Greenacres, Palm Springs, Lake Clarke Shores, Haverhill, Mangonia Park, Riviera Beach, Palm Beach, and Royal Palm Beach. Whenever possible, caregivers are matched close to home.
