We are looking for a "Project Engineer" to join the dynamic team at an international oil and gas company. The company is renowned for its innovation and commitment to sustainable development, making us a key player in the energy industry.

This position is based in the Netherlands and is offered on a permanent contract CDI).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Studies & Reviews

 - Monitor and follow up on project studies.

 - Participate in technical reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

2. Equipment Procurement & Tender Processes

 - Manage equipment orders and oversee procurement processes.

 - Participate in tender offers (RFPs), reviewing technical proposals to ensure alignment with project needs.

3. Work Scope Definition & Job Sheet Preparation

 - Develop comprehensive work lists for project tasks.

 - Draft detailed job sheets and support tender preparation.

 - Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.

4. Site Management & Subcontractor Supervision

 - Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

 - Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Engineering degree (Bac +5) in industrial engineering, marine engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in project management or engineering within the oil and gas industry.

Skills:

Strong technical background and familiarity with tender processes.

Excellent negotiation and subcontractor management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in office tools and project management software.

Language:

Fluent English required.

Aptitudes:

Rigor, autonomy, strong organizational skills, and initiative.

Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with a variety of contacts.
