Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, supportive manner
• Check patients in for appointments and scan documents into charts
• Assist with registration forms and distribute medical records
• Collect and post copayments and outstanding balances; balance cash drawer daily
• Inform patients of care costs and collect required fees
• Assess walk-in traffic for potential emergencies
• Communicate patient needs to clinical staff
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Keep reception and waiting areas clean and sanitized
• Provide coverage for medical records and prior authorizations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds
Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills, and internal equity and falls within an established range.
