We are Looking for:
We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients and visitors in person; answering calls and referring inquiries
- Optimizes patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; and reminding the provider of service delays.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient’s records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Pre-registers patients by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information when necessary.
- Applies the policies of the clinical entity to schedule appointments.
- Travel to clinics within Sugarland and Cinco Ranch clinic
- Performs related duties as required.

Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- 2 years+ of experience in a medical clinic setting
- Experience in patient access
- Experience in hospital inpatient/outpatient setting
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred
