  Summary The Patient Collections Representative, under the direct supervision of the Patient Collections Manager, shall have responsibility for collecting all current and outstanding monies due for services provided.   Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • Contacts patients regarding outstanding balances and payoffs
  • Establishes payment plans to help patients manage payment of bills
  • Sends delinquent accounts to collection agencies
  • Requests payment and collects balances as identified on the account
  • Responds to patient billing and statement inquiries
  • Researches outstanding account balances and takes steps necessary to resolve payment issues
