About Our Unit This unit is located at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Awards & Recognition Jefferson Einstein Hospital is Magnet Recognized. The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following: Must be able to work three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts on a weekly basis Must be able to work every third(3rd) weekend Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per season Responsibilities Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients: Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation services Qualifications To qualify as Patient Care Tech II, you must meet the following requirements for consideration: High School Diploma or equivalent required One of the following is required: PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT and Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.¿Certification and completion of advanced skills and knowledge training within six months of hire accepted in lieu of experience requirement AHA BLS required Total Rewards As a valued member of the team, you will be eligible to receive our total rewards package which includes: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans¿ Retirement Plans¿ Tuition Reimbursement¿ Voluntary benefits Health Coaching, Commuter Discounts, Day Care Services, etc.¿ About Jefferson Join the mission of Improving Lives as a Patient Care Tech II at Jefferson Health.
