Position Summary:
Parts Runner is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of aircraft parts to support our MRO Operations. This role ensures that mechanics and technicians have the necessary parts to minimize aircraft downtime and maintain operational efficiency. The Parts Runner plays a critical role in maintaining part traceability, adhering to safety regulations, and ensuring overall quality control within the parts department.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve parts from inventory, verifying part numbers and descriptions.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of parts to prevent damage.
- Accurately document the movement of parts, including updating inventory records.
- Transport parts to designated locations within hangar operations.
- Deliver parts to the requester, verifying delivery and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Expedite delivery of critical parts, especially in Aircraft on Ground situations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves and organizing the parts department.
- Process returns of unused or defective parts.
- Maintain accurate records of parts movement, inventory levels, and other relevant information.
- Operate company vehicles and other equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with aircraft parts and terminology is preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in receiving, shipping, inventory logistics.
- Must pass a motor vehicle report, preemployment testing and background check for airport property badging.

Additional Information:
This position requires successful completion of the Melbourne Airport background check process.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation for this position typically falls between $18.00 to $23.00 USD. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
