JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Smeal College of Business, Management & Organization Department is seeking applicants for a part-time teaching assistant (TA) for BA571 for the Spring 2026 semester.

Job duties to include:

  • Attend classes, take attendance, assist with grading class participation
  • Assist students with troubleshooting Canvass, and providing web resources for the course
  • Assignments and grading plus final grade compilation
  • Teaching tasks as assigned

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

  • Should have taken basic courses in Business studies at a graduate level
  • Experience with Strategic Management course or Business Policy work experience is desirable ​​

Schedule:

  • March 5, 2026 - May 5, 2026
  • 10 hours per week

Compensation:

  • $20/hour
