JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Vairo Library at Penn State Brandywine is looking to fill a student work study position for Spring 2023. Successful employees will provide high quality customer service and will contribute to a variety of ongoing projects and tasks in the library. Student employees work roughly 5-15 hours each week throughout the semester, depending on availability. To be considered for this position, applicants must be approved for a Federal Work Study award and submit an online application with resume.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a job and perform related duties either on campus, or remotely, if possible and at the discretion of the employer. Students applying for Federal Work Study positions should clarify expectations with their potential employer regarding either on campus/in person or remote work arrangements. A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job position is available. Current federal guidance does not permit students in the 2022-23 academic year to be paid for hours not worked, even if due to COVID-19.
