What we are looking for
SCS Engineers is looking for a Part-Time Senior Project Advisor to assist the BU24 Risk Group with the following tasks as they relate to the EPA RMP and OSHA PSM regulations: International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration Standard 9 Gap Assessments, Process Hazard Analysis Studies as Leader and ammonia refrigeration engineering calculations. This position is part-time and will average 20 hours per week. There will be travel involved, about 50% of the time, and this position can be worked remotely.

As a Part-Time Senior Project Advisor within SCS Engineers' BU24 Risk Group, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our clients' compliance with EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) and OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations. Your contributions will include:
Leading Comprehensive Assessments: Conducting International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) Standard 9 Gap Assessments to identify and address compliance deficiencies in ammonia refrigeration systems.
Facilitating Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs): Serving as the lead facilitator for PHAs, guiding multidisciplinary teams through systematic evaluations to mitigate potential hazards associated with chemical processes.
Performing Engineering Calculations: Executing detailed ammonia refrigeration engineering calculations to support system design, safety analysis, and regulatory compliance efforts.
Providing Strategic Technical Guidance: Offering expert insights and solutions to complex engineering challenges, contributing to the development of innovative approaches that enhance safety and efficiency.
Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Acting as a mentor to junior staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring the transfer of critical knowledge within the team.
Engaging in Business Development: Participating in proposal development, client presentations, and other business development activities to expand SCS Engineers' service offerings and client base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, finance or some other related degree required.
- Skills in buusiness development, client relations, client success preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
Pay Range
USD $82.00 - USD $85.00 /Hr.Additional Information
