Looking for supplemental pay? Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. You will become certified in CPR-AED, Trauma care, X-ray imaging in threat detections, De-escalation techniques and use of force to mention just a few.  These positions require a high level of customer service and professionalism with the ability to work under pressure.  While prior security experience is highly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidates.  

Various locations within the Denver Metro Area 

Pay Range: $19.19 per hour to start with increase at 6 months to $21.83 and $22.30 at 1 year.

Available Schedules:

Monday and Saturday 7am-3pm 

Sunday, Monday, Thursday 3pm-11pm

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday 7am-3pm 

Saturday and Sunday 11pm-7am 

Job Duties & Requirements:

• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required.
• Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community.
• Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. 
• Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities. 
• Monitors surveillance cameras. The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers

Minimum Hiring Standards:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
