Part-time Registration Clerk

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Registration Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families while efficiently registering them for emergency medical services.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner

- Accurately register patients to receive medical service

- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments

- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

- Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Proficient in computer skills and data entry

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
