Part-Time Load-Out Associate

Hours: Fridays, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (or longer if needed)

Compensation: $15 per hour

Job Description:

Retail Rebel is seeking motivated and reliable Part-Time Load-Out Associates to join our team. As a Load-Out Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our load-out areas and auction. If you are a team player who can handle physical tasks and work in various weather conditions, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Physical Tasks: Lift and carry up to 40 lbs safely and efficiently.
• Box Management: Breakdown and recycle Gaylord boxes and other packaging materials.
• Cardboard Recycling: Sort and recycle cardboard waste.
• Site Maintenance: Sweep and pick up trash in and around load-out areas and the auction site.
• Pallet Management: Stack wooden pallets by hand for removal from load-out areas.
• Lot Check: Conduct regular lot checks to ensure parking availability and clear access routes free from auction pallets, Gaylords, or trash.
• Weather Adaptability: Perform job duties effectively in all weather conditions.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as required or assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and handle manual labor tasks.
• Weather Resilience: Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Team Player: Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Warehouse Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Prolonged standing and/or sitting for duration of work shift.
• Varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling 
• Potential use of merchandise equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.
