Position Requested: Driver/Clubhouse Assistant - Carpenter Complex

Reports To: Director, Minor League Training Facilities/Equipment        

Position Overview

• Provide support and assistance for player transportation needs at Carpenter Complex including but not limited to Minor League Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, Post Draft Mini-Camp, Florida Complex League, Florida Instructional League, and Winter Programming/Off-Season Camps.

Essential Duties/Qualifications:

• Serve as a driver for daily player transportation needs including to/from team apartments/hotels,  airport transportation, doctor appointments, community relations appearances, various player education outings for the English as a Second Language program, and other needs as assigned.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and comply will all traffic rules.
• Must be proficient in transportation services rendered including the operation of standard Transit Vans, Mini-Vans, and other organization vehicles.
• Transport players, staff, employees and business associates safely and securely to their destinations.
• Ensure timely conveyance of mechanical or electrical faults with company vehicles.
• Ensure that vehicles are kept clean at all times to maintain professional standards.
• Report any instance of accident, mishap, injury or damage to the supervisor.
• Maintain travel log to record areas travelled to/from, travel time and work hours.
• Other duties as assigned

• Must dress professionally and in accordance with Phillies’ dress code policies.
• Must be punctual, well organized, and possess strong work ethic.
• Must be able to interact professionally with players, staff, and front office personnel.
• Ability to handle flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays as needed.
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
• Must be able to handle frequent lifting of equipment and luggage for loading/unloading purposes.
• Perform other transportation and operations duties as assigned.
