Part Time Caregiver

Close to Home Caregivers is expanding our roster -- we're seeking caregivers for shifts in the greater VENICE area -- from Nokomis in the north to Port Charlotte and Englewood in the south.

Specifically, we need caregivers for a variety of shifts: including WEEKENDS, OVERNIGHTS and DAYTIMES during the week. 
 
 How we help you as a caregiver 

• · We try to honor your preferences: assigning you to shifts that work for you, 
   
• Our hourly wage is competitive: and it can be adjusted to reflect the difficulty of a shift or to reward your dependability over time, plus we pay mileage for errands. 
   
• We are not a huge agency and we retain a Small-Team Feel: Our scheduler, recruiter and office manager are all experienced caregivers -- we know the challenges and rewards of helping people who cannot help themselves, and the importance of keeping caregivers happy. You will frequently hear "thank you" from our managers.

 
 How You’ll Help Clients  ·       Personal Care with Dignity: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers. 
 

• Healthy Meals & Homes: Prepare simple, nutritious dishes; tidy living spaces and handle light laundry. 
   
• Daily Mobility & Exercise: Support gentle walks or therapist-approved stretches. 
   
• Medication Reminders: Keep clients on schedule and note any wellness changes. 
   
• Meaningful Companionship: Share conversation, games, or outings to appointments and shops.

• ·Current CPR/First Aid (or commitment to earn within 30 days). 
• ·Clear, compassionate communications that respect the dignity and privacy of our clients.
