We’re looking for a self-starter, to work both as part of the team and on individual assignments, in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity, and communications.

We’re looking to fill this role with someone who currently has the cloud experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large environments, is flexible and enjoys tackling challenges, and desires to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. How a Palo Alto Network Engineer Advisor will make an impact:

• Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud network solutions
• Maintains the integrity and security of multiple network devices to include but not limited to: Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto Panorama, FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ISE, F5 Big IP, F5 Big IQ
• Create, maintain, and update documentation (diagrams, user guides, and SOPs)
• Supports and develops automation
• Maintains/enhances knowledge of network technology (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco / Juniper/ F5)
• Monitors and improves existing and new deployments
• Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts
• Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues
• May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
• Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience

Required Experience: 8+ years related IT experience with 5+ years with Next Generation Firewalls

Required Technical Skills: Networking (Routing, Firewall, and Switching), ​Palo Alto or Fortinet

Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization

Location: Remote

Preferred:

• ACI (Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Louisiana Residency

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
