What To Expect: As a Painter at Caterpillar you will prepare materials prior to paint application, apply prime paint and topcoat (finish coat) to components and machinery to obtain a high-quality finish consistent with company standards. Bring your industrial or commercial Paint Booth, Spray Gun - Automotive or other coating and finishing industrial application experience to Caterpillar- Today!
Pay Rate and Schedule:
The position includes a wage of $26.98 /hour (this includes a base wage of
$25.73 plus the additional $1.25 /hour shift differential) and a comprehensive day-one benefits program and on-site health and wellness!
Openings available on 2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 2 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization.
Top Candidates Will Have:
Experience in equipment paint processing, booth/spray paint process, or a paint related certificate or certified trade school/technical degree in paint related field
Experience in top coat, prime coat and electrostatic paint or similar process
Top Candidates Will Have:
Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings
Leadership experience
