Hunter offers $20.50 as the starting rate with opportunities for advancement in level and pay. Some mandatory overtime.

Hunter is hiring for the 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday).

As a Paint Line Operator, you will receive, store, and distribute materials and products within the plant floor to support the flow of material to and from the paint line. They will load and unload materials from the paint line conveyor system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Observes and follow all safety rules
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled
  • Conveys materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if licensed) from the paint area to designated areas
  • Will manually load and unload materials from the paint line conveyor system, however never lifting more than 50 pounds without a team lift or the use of lifting devices
  • Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code after the painting process
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
  • Visually inspect finished painted materials to support quality
  • Working as a team is essential in the coordination of loading and unloading materials
  • Safe operation of forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, or other moving equipment
  • Will work toward training in the various paint line stations to progress into the next progression role
  • Maintain work area to sustain a clean and orderly environment
  • Additional duties as assigned.
