Packaging Supervisor - Monroe, MI

What you'll do…

• Manage UAW hourly workforce responsible for all warehousing operations: Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
• Responsible for delivering objectives related to Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Absenteeism, Cost and Cleanliness. 
• Interact with other salary employees, UAW and suppliers to deliver successful results. 
• Carry out Company practice/policy in the areas of work standards, discipline, training, and personnel administration. 
• Maintain a positive working relationship with UAW employees and Leadership, including fair and equal administration of the contract
• Facilitate crew meetings. 
• Prepare/maintain work related records as needed.
• Develop daily RTO to ensure proper utilization of manpower (including any overtime and vacation)
• Lead CIP, Safety, Ergo teams. 
• Actively participate in all Continuous Improvement Process Teams 

Schedule Requirements

• This position is 100% onsite.  No opportunity for hybrid work schedule 
• Shift start times: 6am | 6pm 
• Flexibility required: Must be available to work outside traditional hours, including weekends as needed.
• Overtime: Must be willing to work overtime or adjust schedule based on business needs.
• Shift coverage: Willingness to work all shifts as required.

You'll have..

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading an hourly workforce in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new challenges quickly.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong organizational skills with a track record of holding teams accountable to performance standards.
• Experience motivating and leading teams to achieve operational goals.
• Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels.
• Ability to analyze data, assess actions, and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve performance-driven goals
