- Experience in program management, including managing cross-functional projects, tracking timelines, and coordinating stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex, large-scale programs from initiation to delivery.
- Experience leading cross-functional program management initiatives across multiple teams or organizations.

This role is open to DeepMind employees as a secondment opportunity and will not impact your status as a full time employee. Your level and ladder will not change for the duration of the secondment.

As a Program Manager for Organizational AI Research, you will be the operational engine scaling our AI research capacity. In this 12-month assignment based in Mountain View or New York, you will build scalable research operations from the ground up while acting as a strategic partner to leadership. You will foster high-impact external partnerships with leading academic institutions and internal partners like Google.org, while seamlessly bridging the gap between cross-functional partners, such as research, engineering, and legal teams. Your work will directly impact how we prioritize research, manage inbound collaborations, and build the technical workflows that enable our researchers to thrive.
