Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare the operating room by sterilizing instruments and arranging surgical supplies

- Assist surgeons and surgical team members during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment

- Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and ready for use

- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels during procedures

- Follow strict infection control protocols and safety standards

- Document surgical procedures and equipment usage accurately

- Support preoperative and postoperative patient care as needed

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent (CST preferred)

- Prior experience in a surgical or sterile environment

- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and operating room protocols

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations

- Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus
