POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: This position will perform functions for the shipping and receiving department. Responsible for picking, packing, labeling and shipping customer orders. Individuals should have experience in all modes of transportation, LTL, Truckload, Intermodal and small parcels shipments. Experience in handling hazardous shipments preferred. Must be able to understand various shipping regulations as it relates to hazardous shipments. The individual is required to adhere to plant safety, quality, and environmental policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Accurately pick, pack and ship customer orders.
• Prepare appropriate documentation for shipment of goods
• Filling out the appropriate information on the shipping pick
• Printing shipping labels, BOLs and labels for product shipment
• Completing Export paperwork and other duties associated with these shipments
• Verify material for appropriate hazard identification
• Verify shipment information with carriers
• Enter appropriate information into SAP
• Maintain shipping records
• Process outbound UPS, FedEx and other freight packages
• Ability to file and process forms
• Neat and legible handwriting
• Operating knowledge of forklift trucks
• Working knowledge of material handling and stacking methods
