Operator C - Process Operator

1. Primary Function:

Production of Poly–ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include processing chemical at the foam head, operation of process control panel. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, calculation of output square feet, sheet length, and linear feet. Other skills include the ability to read gauges, meters and tape measures.  Operation of forklifts.

 

1. Duties:

A.                 Set up, operate and maintain foam head area.

B.                 Check temperature and fluid level of head part cleaner.

C.                 Prepare and changing of head parts, nozzles and injectors.

D.                 Preparing facer rolls and doing facer splices

E.                  Use of SAPI.  Enter data and reading as outlined in document.

F.                  Inspect Calibration roller for cleanliness.

G.                 Inspect and maintain proper chemical laydown.

H.                 Communicate with other operators and supervisor on start-up and during                               production run.

I.                    Maintain head parts and associated equipment.

J.                   Produce product to specification with the use of operator run logs

K.                 Changing chemical totes

 

 

L.        Shimming laminator. (Line 2)

 

 

M.        Housekeeping of Plant inside and out.

 

 

N.        Assist in training of new team members.

O.        Fill in other areas of the plant as required
