Description
Sunflower Bank is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Operations Reporting Analyst in Plano, TX. The Operations Reporting Analyst position is responsible for oversight and review of the ongoing SBA portfolio including reporting, audit of existing files, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. The Operations Reporting Analyst position provides technical guidance and implements processes for continuous improvement relating to the SBA portfolio, and all other duties as assigned by the Director of Loan Operations.
- Manage macro-level SBA Department Projects including, but not limited to:
- SBA 1502 reporting and transition to automation
- Build reporting tools for analyzing and managing the existing SBA portfolio as related to risk and quality
- Assist in internal audit of loan files as directed.
- Back up and support the loan operations teams
- Notify management of potential risks identified during audit/review/reporting of loans.
- Maintain working knowledge of SmartBiz program, and assist as needed.
- Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
- Understand and participate in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the SBA Director.
Education/Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years of working directly with SBA loan programs.
- In-depth knowledge of SBA lending practices and requirements as well as the SBA SOP Origination, Servicing, and Liquidation manuals.
- Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to achieve high production and quality standards.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and all other Microsoft applications.
- Ability to learn new systems and understand additional bank system functionality.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
